One North

Jul 2026 – Present

Rebuilding the Nova design system for Charter's Spectrum brand with AI agents I built: machine-readable design tokens, Figma and Angular components and documentation for 20+ designers and 100+ engineers.
Defined the token naming formula for all three tiers so a token reads the same in Figma and in code, and built a compatibility layer to protect existing teams from breaking changes.
Built AI agents that audit Nova's tokens and components in Figma and in code, catching 46 broken alias references and 76 deleted-but-referenced variables across 731 variables.

Google

Oct 2024 – May 2026

Built an AI tool that writes guidelines and accessibility specs for 70+ components, taking documentation coverage from 15% to 100% and halving per-release documentation time.
Defined the component patterns and theming guidelines Google Wallet now uses across the product, as part of its Material 3 to Material 3 Expressive migration.
Built and documented Google Wallet's Figma component library, used daily by 30+ designers.

Pluto TV

Aug 2023 – Sep 2024

Refactored the Nitro Design System across 6 platforms (web, iOS, Android, tvOS, Roku, Smart TV), cutting redundant design work by 30%.
Helped establish the governance framework for the Nitro Design System, used by 12 product designers and around 300 platform engineers.
Ran design token workshops for 50+ designers and engineers, leading 2 teams to adopt the token system.

Defined specs, interaction patterns and handoff standards with engineering for 20+ Magnetic components, used by 3 product teams.

City National Bank

Nov 2022 – Mar 2023

Led a WCAG 2.1 AA color system redesign, clearing accessibility debt across 15+ applications.

First American

Mar 2021 – Nov 2022

Grew an unmanaged design system into Ignite, a Figma library backed by Angular production code and Storybook, now the company standard for design-to-code handoff.
Designed a color system that algorithmically generated 10 tints and shades for each of 8 key colors, producing WCAG 2.1 AA pairings the old palette could not.
Built Style Dictionary token infrastructure, then automated component packaging and versioning to cut release cycles from hours to minutes.

Boulevard

Sep 2019 – Feb 2021

Founded BLVD UI, Boulevard's first design system, serving both new React and legacy Angular code from one Figma and React library held to WCAG 2.1 AA.
Defined Boulevard's design token strategy: 195 tokens across 18 categories, including 9 color themes, portable to CSS and JavaScript.
