Problem
In the journey of every emerging startup, there are new ideas, alterations, concessions, and shifts in direction. The commonly adopted approach of "Move Fast and Break Things" often results in clutter and technical debt in the codebase. After years of accumulation and insufficient attention, it became necessary to re-evaluate the underlying code architecture.
My Role
I played a crucial role in devising and implementing a component-driven strategy to revamp the front-end user interface (UI) layer, utilizing the Bootstrap UI framework. Additionally, I contributed to the front-end refactoring process by incorporating patterns and design tokens. The purpose was to guarantee that the codebase scalable and maintainable for increased developer productivity and velocity.
